Power shutdown on weekend of 15/16 December

Ended
Began
Maintenance Planned

With digital services being key to everything we do, Information and Technology Services will be using the opportunity during the power shutdown to carry out a number of resilience tests aimed at testing our plans and providing ongoing assurance of IT service availability during a ‘real’ event.

In advance of the planned power shutdown, during the afternoon of Friday 14 December, IT Services will carry out precautionary works to ensure the continued availability of critical IT services throughout the weekend, whether you are working at another campus, or remotely. For the majority of services this will happen with no disruption. In cases where there will be some disruption, IT Services will contact impacted staff directly with details.

Please note that from Sunday morning (16 December) you may experience a slightly different, improved login experience for certain services.
