Network connectivity in Eadweard Muybridge building

The worst effects of the flooding that affected the Eadweard Muybridge Building immediately after the Christmas closure have now been addressed.

Although I&TS are carrying out some final checks on a limited number of data ports in the building to confirm the availability of all services, network provision and Wi-Fi has been restored within the building. The two third floor computer rooms (EM 3023 and 3024) have re-opened. Should any users experience any difficulty accessing services, please contact the Service Desk.

The response to the flood that affected the Eadweard Muybridge Building over the Christmas closure is continuing. Please can all staff and students use the Ground, 1st and 2nd Floor corridors for essential business only as there are dehumidifiers present, some doors are open and contractors are working in many of the corridors.

Due to the recent flooding in the Eadweard Muybridge building there is some disruption to network connectivity (wired and wi-fi) within this building. We will restore services as soon as possible. Please check the KU app and the IT Status page for further updates.
