We can confirm that the latest release of the Canvas mobile app is now available from Apple’s app store and resolves the recent logging in issue experienced by iOS users. If you are still experiencing sign in issues please ensure you are running this latest version.

Canvas will be releasing a fix for the recent logging in issue experienced by iOS users of the Canvas mobile app for students and Teachers. If you are experiencing sign in issues please check for updates for the Canvas Mobile app via the app store.

Problem Identified

Canvas has identified the cause of the issue with iOS devices accessing the Canvas App. They are working on a fix for Microsoft authentication. Canvas are currently pre-testing a potential fix and hope to have this available shortly. We will continue to publish updates on the Status page.

We are aware of an issue of users being unable to access the Canvas Mobile App on an iOS device.
Canvas are aware of this issue with their App and are attempting to resolve this as a high priority.
We will update the status page with further information and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
