We have been monitoring the searching functionality within public folders for a few days and are satisfied with the stability in performance. We now consider this issue to be resolved.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused during the disruption of this service.

Microsoft have informed us that the issue with searching within public folders has now been resolved for us. Testing has indicated that this is the case but we will continue to monitor this over the next couple of days to ensure this is proven to be the case.
Microsoft have issued a notification regarding potential issues with search in Exchange Online.
We are yet to receive any reports effecting Kingston staff or students but continue to monitor the situation

Microsoft’s resolution of the public folders search issue for customers is still ongoing - 66% of customers have been resolved. We are still experiencing the issue and await the resolution to be applied to us.
