After a period of monitoring Box have confirmed the issue accessing the Box service has been resolved.

Box have identified the cause of this issue and have undertaken remediation work to address this issue.
We have noticed that access to the Box service has started to return but await official confirmation from Box that this issue has been fully resolved. We will continue to provide updates to the IT Status page with further progress.
We are currently aware of an issue accessing Box. This issue with the Box service is affecting all of their customers. They are investigating this as a high priority. We will continue to update the IT Status page when we have more information.
