Microsoft have resolved a global issue affecting access to Email services.

Microsoft have advised that the issue was caused by a recent configuration update. They have reverted the update and advised services are now recovering. Will are monitoring the situation and will provide a further update as soon as possible.
Microsoft have advised that this issue primarily affects Outlook on the web, though some users may also experience problems with Outlook desktop and mobile devices. Users that are able to login to Email may also experience delays sending and receiving email.
Microsoft are currently experiencing a global issue affecting access Email services. Services may be unavailable or degraded. Microsoft are currently investigating and further updates will be provided as soon as possible. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
