From 7 September we are changing the way you log in to Unified by adding an extra layer of security.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is an enhanced approach to securing access to digital services, requiring more than a simple username and password as proof of identity.
How will this affect the way you login?
The University now uses MFA for the majority of its services so you do not have to do anything to prepare for this change. However, on 7 September the current splash screen for Unified will change and you will either be presented with the usual MFA challenges or go straight in if you have recently authenticated.
If prompted you should select login, and then authenticate with your mobile or authentication app.
