We’ve been made aware of ongoing phishing attacks targeting the University of Manchester and other higher education institutions. While there’s no direct indication that Kingston University has been affected, we’ve been advised to remain vigilant.
Please continue to exercise caution when opening emails, especially those from unknown senders or containing unexpected links or attachments. If you receive anything suspicious, report it immediately to the IT Security or abuse mailbox.

• Don’t forward suspicious emails to colleagues , always report them instead.
• Don’t ignore email security warnings such as “Phishing” or “External Sender.”
