Major Phishing Email Warning


Students and some Staff are being targeted by a new series of phishing emails with the subject line of “OSIS ACCESS”

This email is NOT sent from IT Services and the website provided is a fake OSIS web page.
If you receive an email like this, please send this to as an attachment.

IT Services’ are implementing mitigations to minimise the effect of this attack.

To avoid falling victim to this type of crime:

  • Don’t open attachments or click on links in emails you’re unsure about.
  • Never share any personal information on a site which has been accessed via a link in an email.
  • Remember that the University will never ask you to click on a link to activate or re-activate your account or provide your personal information via email.
  • If you have responded to any of these emails or provided the password to the fake OSIS website or using the same password for other online services, please change your password immediately.
